Ecuador is a multicultural country full of Andean indigenous traditions. Among these is the Otavalo culture, famous for their fabrics and handicrafts. After beginning the tour you will have a very interesting stop at Qutisato sundial, where you will learn crucial aspects of the astronomical knowledge of the prehispanic cultures of the region. The next and most important spot will be Otavalo market, where you will spend some quality time shopping with your friends and enjoying the beautiful and high-quality handicrafts. After this, you will have a delicious lunch followed by a visit to the waterfall of Peguche. Finally, on your way back to Quito, you will have a stop in Cayambe, the perfect place to see how people prepare biscuits using a traditional technique and to have a tasty snack.
The price applies to groups of three or more passengers. In case that the minimum number of passengers is not reached, we will contact you by email in order to reschedule the day of the tour.
Transportation arrangements can be discussed for groups of more than two people. The tour has a small extra cost to pick up from your own accommodation
